I'm going to mention a couple problems people might want to be aware of. It's happened to me before but I've lost about $12 in the last week ($10 just right now) because of glitches.
- One was the issue J.Banks brought up--happened to me too.
- Another was getting charged $5 for a game not starting: the message "one of the players has left the table" appeared, so there was no game, yet I was charged anyway.
- Just now, another odd thing: The software took maybe 20-30 seconds to initialize the game, then the cards were being played for me unless I played a card within the first one or two seconds of the time allowed. The computer ended up bidding for me and I lost. My internet connection is fine so I'm assuming this is a problem with spadester's server.
How long will it take to expect refunds? I've emailed the department, the first error was reported 4 days ago, the other two only moments ago. In the past Spadester has been pretty speedy about refunds--just curious.
