so why does it seem the higher the rating the better the card deal gets?
is it truly random and why when you sit in different places the deals are good on certain times and lousy on others?
i guess thats the random thing.. d'oh!

After you have been @ Spadester long enough, you will come to realize that the dealing actually becomes more difficult the higher your rank is. I found that in order for the games to be the most fair for everyone, dealing actually seems better for lower rank teams if they are playing against higher rank teams. It is based on the the rank (average) of the the teams. What is the rank of the two team players combined, divided by two? The higher ranking a team has, the better players they should be. The computer will continue to challenge each player in order to make everyone the best possible spade player they can be. Every hand you play is logged and profiled. The computer knows how every player on the web site plays and what each players' strengths and weaknesses are. Then your hands are dealt according to both you and your partners ranking and playing style profile combined.

Dear players,

It may seem that cards are being dealt according to players' ranking. That is not true.

Our system generates cards randomly regardless of your ranking or where you are sitting around the table.

We have no interest in affecting the games one way or another - that would also be tampering.

Thank you! and enjoy Spadester!

astute, I find that hilarious that you think the computer knows are strengths & weaknesses, in that case the computer should know my strength is having spades & I should be dealt 13 spades every hand, just saying. Anyways I believe it is 50% random, 25% spadester, 15% your skill level, & 10% the people you play with. You can play an absolute perfect game & lose to a guy going 7,8,9 on last hand, thats where spadester comes in. If you notice the person in last place after the 4th round (not getting set either, just not catching) will always come back to either win or at least make a run for the win. People trailing always catch the best hands for some reason. You can play a game against someone who doesn't like you & 9 times out of 10 you will lose because they'll make a point to make sure you don't win. What I really hate is when someone gets set so they either bid nil with 5 or bid 1 with 5, they just give up, thats childish, you should always play til the end. You shouldn't hold grudges or make it a point to make sure someone loses. Thats childish as well. Just because you're out of the game doesn't mean you should ruin it for others.

irishnan, this is to you, I owe you an apoligy for getting you mixed up with someone who is 1 letter off of your nick, i'm sorry for the mix up, I apoligize.

d'oh! Think They don't. Dealing actually seems better for lower rank teams if they are playing against higher rank teams. It is based on the rank (average) of the the teams. The higher you get the more difficult the hands will be on average. The computer will continue to challenge each player in order to make everyone the best possible spade player they can be. The higher ranks get more difficult hands, not better. Wait until you start moving up and you will see what I mean. But of course by then you will have become a better player and you won't think you are getting bad hands any longer. Be patient, learn and enjoy yourself.

d'oh! not2nite, It's obvious that you have no experience operating a website, otherwise you would not have embarrassed yourself by making this post. All servers provide detailed information about every movement that occurs on any website. Are you so naive that you really don't believe each member has a profile. I suggest that you try hosting your own website. You will be amazed how much your attitude will change about this issue.
