I need a rule clarification. so once you earn 10 bags you lose 100 points. How is this actually scored. say you have 369 and you bid 4 and get 5 tricks, giving you 41 points, now your score would become 410 (in my head) then losing 100 you would be down to 310. Is this correct or do you add the 40 and forget about the other points which are considered bags and end up with 300?

I haven't played spades in a while and I am certainly no expert. Just looking for a simple rule clarification.

Hi regretsHD, it's very simple...
you have 359 points. If you bid 4 and you get 5 tricks, your score must be 400 points.
If you earn the maximum of bags, for example 10 bags you will loose 100 points and back to 300 points.
